Challenged to create an iconic headquarters for prominent hedge fund within the iconic Lever House. The company seeks to create a cutting edge work environment that reflects the firm’s unique and progressive investing approach as well as focus more on the quality of life and collaborative functionality of its office environment. We carved a three-story curved atrium to serve as the entry to the top three floors separating the elevated banks from the new offices, establishing the company’s presence and identity within the structure while at the same time spatially unifying the floors vertically.  Upon entry the atrium is traversed via structural glass bridges and serves as an art gallery. A dramatic internal stair suspended from stainless steel rods within the office space beyond further unifies the floors and re-centers the company’s interconnectivity and collaborative practice.
